Missile attack 2 March 2022. Overlooking constitution Sq. has repeatedly made this building a prime target: the First Battle of Kharkiv in October 1941 left it severely damaged and prior to that, suffered light shelling and machine gun fire in both the Ukrainian War of Independence (1917-1921) and russian Civil War (1917-1922) which overlapped.
